The order matters. Nothing is destroyed until you have seen exactly what would be.
Add as many as you like — Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, Fastmail, IONOS or any IMAP server. Or import what is already in Apple Mail.
Flagged mail, unread mail, drafts, or any combination. The app describes your rule in plain English before it runs.

This app deletes mail in bulk. Every decision assumed that getting it wrong would be unforgivable.
Every folder is opened in read-only mode, so the server will not even mark mail as seen.
Deletions move to your Trash folder and stay recoverable. Permanent deletion is a separate, deliberate choice.
Subfolders, Sent, Drafts, Archive, Trash and Junk are left alone unless you explicitly ask otherwise.
If your provider reports flags in a way the app does not recognise, it says so and tells you not to clean up yet.

No. It asks your provider for the sender, subject, date and flags of each message — the same details your mail app shows in a list — and never downloads the body of anything. Those details sort your mailbox on screen and are then discarded; none of it is stored, logged or sent anywhere.
No. The app talks directly to your mail provider from your own Mac — there is no server of ours anywhere in the chain, so there is nothing for us to look at even if we wanted to.
Only the email address you give us on this page, used to send your download link, app updates and news about other useful apps from We Are One Apps. Never shared or sold, and you can unsubscribe from any email. Nothing from inside your mailbox is collected or transmitted.
Nearly every provider now refuses ordinary account passwords from third-party apps. An app password is generated by you, only works for mail, and can be revoked whenever you like. For Gmail you can sign in with Google instead.
